London, United Kingdom One Million Startups (OMS) participated in the first edition of the African Roadshow in London as an Official Partner of the Africa GCC Council, supporting efforts to strengthen economic cooperation, entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment between Africa and the GCC region.
Hosted at XCHG Spaces London, the event brought together a diverse audience of entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders, creating an important platform for dialogue and collaboration ahead of the Africa GCC Council Platform and the Africa Pavilion at AIM Congress Dubai, taking place from 7–9 September.

As a global initiative dedicated to enabling startups from emerging and frontier markets to launch, grow, and scale internationally, One Million Startups views Africa as one of the world's most dynamic and promising entrepreneurial ecosystems. The event provided an opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and explore new pathways for supporting startup growth, innovation, and cross-border market access.
The strong participation and engagement at the London event reflected the growing interest in building stronger connections between Africa and the GCC, while creating new opportunities for founders, SMEs, investors, and ecosystem organizations.

Following a successful launch in London, the African Roadshow will continue its journey across strategic markets, building momentum toward the Africa Pavilion at AIM Congress Dubai and expanding opportunities for collaboration across regions.

As an Official Partner of the Africa GCC Council, One Million Startups remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs and innovation ecosystems while helping connect African startups to global opportunities, partnerships, and investment networks.
